Job Summary and Mission

This position contributes to the success of wizlynx group by performing the following:

  • Develop and implement resilient SOP, processes, procedures, tools, and documents for MSS to simplify workflow and ensure these processes are recorded and followed best practice methodologies for newly engaged managed services globally
  • Oversee, lead and manage professional and administrative staff to process, formulate recommendations and to otherwise make decisions in respect of all types of new services
  • Enhance managed security services portfolio based on new technologies and customer request
  • Evaluate security technologies and third-party services that provide the most value and are best suited for the organization
  • Co-ordinate for the effective management of the allocated staff, financial and other resources
  • Develop market leading services to compliment to services offered
  • Address customer concerns in reference to products, services rendered or employee interactions
  • Be a key part towards the strategic growth and development on operational management of the services within the organization as well exploring new areas for growth
  • Research requests for new cyber managed services and changes to existing services
  • Provide recommendations and/or alternatives to the requested service catalog changes
  • Provide support and guidance to the operational teams to ensure compliance with the contract requirements
  • Establish service Improvements plan
  • Plan and take charge of the creation and maintenance of commercial documents such as offer templates, datasheets, website section, SharePoint service area, etc.
  • Propose new internal IT tools, initiative, and process to improve the efficiency and security of our infrastructure
  • Oversee and to enhance quality of Project Management (people, processes, and business environment) among the Engagement coordinators.
  • Lead and manage complex / high-profile engagements and mentor less experienced engagement coordinators globally
  • Provide pre-sales to Sales Team support for all managed security services (MSS), for bid process, by defining scopes, SoW, cost calculations and support sizing to RFI’s & RFP’s
  • Opportunistically pursue additional business development opportunities within customer; Collaborate with Sales Team to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered
  • Maintain constant communication with management, service delivery team (Cyber Security Engineers, Cyber Security Service Desk), and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
  • Oversee and develop team by providing performance feedback, coaching and motivation; responsible for the planning and supports the completion of team training; assesses employees’ strengths and development needs and establishes personal development plans
  • Oversee and pro-actively quality control on all provided service by monitoring and managing escalated tickets/SLA/KPI and produce monthly report to customer

Ideal Experience and Education

  • 5-6 years IT work experience
  • 5-8 years of management role experience
  • University or similar desirable

Technical Skills and Abilities

  • Basic functional knowledge of common infrastructure, cloud, and application security flaws/exploits with the ability to clearly explain these security issues to others
  • Experience of security products including firewalls, URL filtering, information security and virus protection
  • Microsoft OS and Office knowledge
  • Security mapping and technical document writing
  • Experience working within a SOC or similar environment
  • Able to manage challenging client critical support services, demonstrate dealing with high priority issues and subsequent stabilization of services in a demanding, time pressured environment
  • Initiate and pursue service improvement tasks during business-as-usual periods
  • Maintain a clear and calm attitude whilst showing appropriate levels of concern and pursuing a suitable course of action to overcome the problems presented
  • Able to motivate staff by maintaining a positive attitude and through appropriate delegation and control
  • Possess self-motivation, flexibility, initiative, and integrity to ensure that our clients and the applied intelligence management have a high degree of confidence in your ability to efficiently manage the services with minimal intervention
  • Maintain good oral and written communication skills are essential to ensure all parties associated with the service always maintain a clear understanding of the status of the service and associated tasks.
  • Able to support solutions in a multi-provider environment
  • Possess strong communication and an aptitude for attention to detail and the ability to maintain effective control over many tasks in parallel
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and client staff
