This describes the job of Cyber Security Sales Manager for wizlynx group. This position is mainly responsible for selling wizlynx group’s cyber security products and service portfolio to new customers, as well as generate new sales revenue. Furthermore, the job includes managing the partners and vendors to support the sales and business development process. 

Our consulting services include advisory and assessment, architecture, implementation, and assurance and testing. Wizlynx group is official CREST accredited Penetration Testing service provider globally with CREST certified Penetration Testers. Because CREST requires a rigorous assessment of member companies’ business processes, data security and security testing methodologies, CREST member companies have a demonstrable level of assurance that their information security methodologies can provide their clients with a robust assessment of their information security posture.

Job Summary and Mission

This describes the job of Cybersecurity Sales Manager for Wizlynx Cyber Security Limited in Hong Kong. This position is mainly responsible for selling the Wizlynx Hong Kong product and service portfolio to new customers to generate new sales revenue. This is an individual contributor role without subordinate.


Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:


Business Development

  • Identify Potential Leads and Customers: Actively seek out and identify new leads and potential customers to expand the sales pipeline.
  • Generate Sales and Maintain Sales Pipeline: Regularly create and update the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities.
  • Customer Awareness and Intelligence Gathering: Stay informed about customer needs and gather intelligence on both the company and key decision-makers to tailor approaches effectively.
  • Prompt Offer Generation: Be prepared to make quick offers upon request, even in situations where an offer may not be explicitly required.
  • Market Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of the marketplace and industry trends to inform sales strategies and discussions.
  • Engagement with IT Community: Enhance IT knowledge and actively engage with the IT community to build relationships and stay updated on industry developments.
  • Daily / Regularly Reporting of Sales Activities: Conduct daily / regularly reports on various sales activities to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Contribution: Collaborate with team members to achieve related results and support overall team objectives.
  • Lead Marketing Initiatives: Oversee the marketing activities, integrating strategies and recommendations into active marketing channels such as email marketing and social media.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet assigned sales targets and other objectives as required to contribute to the company's success.
  • Local Sales Tactics Development: Develop and execute effective sales tactics tailored to local markets to drive growth.

 

Sales

  • Lead Generation: Actively generate leads and leverage personal contacts to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Pipeline Management: Submit an updated sales pipeline report to the designated group on a weekly basis to ensure transparency and tracking of progress.
  • Sales Planning: Efficiently plan and organize sales calls, meetings, events, and visits to maximize engagement with potential clients.
  • Task Management: Ensure that all sales tasks are effectively managed and executed efficiently to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Preparation for Sales Calls: Thoroughly prepare for each sales call to maximize effectiveness and address potential customer concerns.
  • Deal Preparation: Prepare deal calculations, offers, estimates, and presentations necessary to support potential deals or opportunities within defined timelines.
  • Capacity Coordination: Update the pipeline report weekly and coordinate with the Wizlynx Singapore Leadership team to ensure the necessary capacity is available to fulfill new business demands.
  • Opportunity Definition: Define the requirements for mature deals and opportunities and drive the decision-making process to closure.
  • Margin Estimation: Provide margin estimations for each opportunity to the management team to support informed decision-making.
  • Commercial Sales Leadership: Lead the commercial sales process for requests for proposals (RFPs), including proposal preparation, bidding, contract negotiations, and purchase orders for new customers and opportunities.
  • Bidding Process Contribution: Offer input into the bidding process and proposal generation for existing customers to enhance competitiveness.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Manage and nurture customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.

 

Ideal Experience and Education 

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Information Technology or a business-related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of sales and business development experience in the cybersecurity or IT industry.
  • Sales Performance: A proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
  • Work Experience: Hands-on experience working in foreign-owned companies.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and possess strong communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the IT industry is essential.
  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Knowledge of the IT security sector is a plus.

 

Language Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin Cantonese (speech at a minimum).
